Beyond the Filling: Recognizing Oral Pathology in Everyday Dentistry
Presented by Dr. Hiba Qari
Course Description
Oral lesions are a common part of everyday dental practice, but determining what is routine, what requires follow-up, and what may be concerning can be challenging. This case-based course provides a practical approach to evaluating oral pathology using clinical and radiographic examples.
Dr. Qari will guide attendees through differential diagnoses, key diagnostic features, and management considerations designed to build confidence in recognizing both common and less familiar oral conditions.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Recognize important clinical and radiographic features of oral lesions
- Develop a practical differential diagnosis
- Identify findings that may require additional evaluation or referral
- Apply appropriate management considerations in everyday practice
