Course Description: Restorative Considerations for Implant-Supported Single Crowns

Join us for an in-depth, clinically focused presentation exploring key restorative factors that influence the long-term success of implant-supported single crowns. Topics will include:
- Abutment-implant connection design (platform switching, microgap)
- Effects of abutment disconnection/reconnection
- Retention type: screw-retained vs. cement-retained, custom vs. stock abutments
- Optimal restorative materials
- Comprehensive review of restorative contours, including emergence profile management and contour design strategies

Speaker Bio: Dr. Max Molgard Jr is a board-certified prosthodontist and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He maintains a private practice in Spokane, WA with a focus on restorative implant dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and esthetic rehabilitation.
Dr. Molgard earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University and completed his specialty training in prosthodontics in the US Army at Ft. Gordon, GA.
When he’s not in the office, he’s often studying new techniques, collaborating with specialists, or finding ways to make dental education more engaging and clinically relevant.
